2009/2010 season!

SEPTEMBER 13,
2010: JOIN
THE GOLDEN CONCERT CHOIR FOR CHRISTMAS CONCERT
The Golden
Concert Choir invites you to join the Choir for
the first rehearsal of the fall term on Monday,
September 13, 2010 at
6:30 p.m.
Rehearsals are Monday evenings from 7:00
p.m.
to 9:00 p.m.
at Applewood Valley United Methodist Church,
2035 Ellis Street, Golden. No auditions;
singers must be able to match pitch. We
are committed to bringing the joy of singing to
everyone. There are choir dues; special
arrangements are available. The choir
director is David Bell.
The Golden
Concert Choir will perform Vivaldi’s Gloria
plus other works at a Christmas concert on
Saturday, December 4, 2010
at 7:30 p.m.,
at the same location.

Your child is
invited to join the new Children’s Choir of
Golden when it starts rehearsals on Monday,
September 20. Rehearsals are Monday
evenings from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m., at Applewood
Valley United Methodist Church, 2035 Ellis
Street, Golden. No auditions. We are
committed to bringing the joy of singing to
everyone. There is a participation charge;
special arrangements are available. The
Children’s Choir of Golden is partially
supported by a donation from Greg and Sue
Stevinson.
The
Children's Choir of Golden will join the Golden
Concert Choir for a Christmas concert on
Saturday, December 4, 2010 at 7:30 p.m., at the
same location.

November 14,
2010: Book Fair at Barnes & Noble
The Golden Community Choirs will hold a book fair
at the Denver West Barnes & Noble, 14347 W.
Colfax Ave., Golden, on Sunday, November 14,
from 9am to 10pm. For one day only, you can
support your favorite local nonprofit (Golden
Community Choirs, of course!) by buying books,
coffee or cheesecakes at the Denver West Barnes
& Noble, 14347 W. Colfax Ave. A percentage of
your purchase will be donated to our choirs at
no added cost to you. Great holiday shopping
before the Thanksgiving rush. Your friends in
other areas can also support the Choirs with
their purchases on that day, or online for
several days afterward. For more information,

Past Seasons |
The Golden Community Choirs include
Golden
Concert Choir (GCC), and the
Children's Choir of Golden (CCG),
and until 2010 included Confluence. The choirs are constantly
striving to achieve excellence through
repertoire. Under the direction of David Bell, we are presented with
challenging music and we all have increased our
ability to answer the call. We attract and
retain quality singers through introductory as
well as sophisticated musical selections that
keep the choirs fresh and ever working toward
self and group improvement.
